Lori Lynette Self

Lori Lynette Self, 57, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Mrs. Self was born April 9, 1966 in Concord, North Carolina to the late Richard Claye Ramsey and the late Patricia Gail Ramsey. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1984 and RCCC with a associate degree in Early Childhood. She worked at Lambert’s Daycare until becoming disabled.

The family is planning a memorial service to be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include husband, Marvin (Dell) Self ; sons, Hunter Self and Christopher Self; daughters, Madison Self (boyfriend, Quinton Appleberry) and Tricia Ayers (fiancée Joe Cruz) ; sister, Erika Kouato and husband Rabiou. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, William Ranson and Dakodah Appleberry and numerous nieces and nephews.
