Loretta "Retta" Dean, 65 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at her residence.
Retta was born September 13, 1949 in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her father James Charlie Foster.
A memorial service will be at 5:00 PM, Monday April 6, 2015 in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland.
Survivors include husband, Joel Dean of Concord; mother, Hester Baucom of Rockwell; stepmother, Ruth Foster of Midland; daughters, Angela Drye and husband Dwayne of Kannapolis, and Crystal Cochrane and husband Jason of Matthews; son, James Benfield and girlfriend Melissa Ritchie of Concord; three stepchildren, Rhonda Ridenhour, Robin Waddel, and Brad Dean; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathy Dorton of Harrisburg.
Retta was a homemaker and loved all of her family and friends.
