Lorene Walters Patterson, 82 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Woodhaven Court.
Lorene was born August 9, 1932 in North Carolina to the late John Allen Walters and the late Davies Ward Walters. She was also preceded in death by brother, John Walters.
The graveside service, officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt, will be at 3 pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Norview Gardens, 949 Pee Dee Avenue in Norwood. At other times the family will be gathering at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle. She will be open for family and friends to view at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle from 2 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday, Novemeber 25, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Russell Patterson of Albemarle; sons, Daniel Russell Patterson of Albemarle, Tommy Patterson and daughter-in-law Kay Patterson of Norwood, Timothy Patterson of Asheville; daughter, Patricia Patterson of Albemarle; grandchildren, Jeff Patterson and Jamie Patterson; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kaylin Patterson; and brother, Pate Walters of Lincoln County.
