Lona Paulette Burleson Chandler, 68 years of age, of New London, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Ms.Chandler was born June 9, 1947 in Stanly County to the late Robert Lee Burleson and the late Serena Earnhart Burleson.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Chandler and wife, Amy,of New London and Stephen Chandler and wife, Renee, of Albemarle; and one daughter, Marsha Chandler of Badin; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Lona worked at Wiscassett Mills for over 30 years.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
