Lois Loretta Paxton Shaver

Lois Loretta Paxton Shaver, 76, of Concord, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital.

Ms. Shaver was born June 11, 1949 in Cabarrus County, to the late Elias James Paxton and the late Lora Loretta Paxton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry W. Shaver, Sr.; son, Larry W. Shaver, Jr., and siblings, Sam Paxton, Becky McCubbin, Frankie Paxton, and Shelton Paxton.

Survivors include son, Doyle Shaver of Concord; daughter in law, Kelly Shaver of Concord; grandsons, Andrew High, Daniel (Brittney) Shaver, Brandon (Rosa) Shaver, Matthew (Sarah) Shaver; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Shaver; great grandsons, Graisen, Shawn, Nathan, Waylon, Aiden, Maverick, Carter, and Oliver; and great granddaughters, Loren, Baylee and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life on May 23rd at 4:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church, located at 480 Lloyd Garmon Lane in Concord, NC. The celebration of life will be officiated by Bobby Tallent.
