Lloyd Easley

Lloyd Eugene Easley, 65, of Concord, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at The Oaks at Town Center, Harrisburg, NC. Mr. Easley was born October 5, 1945, in Cabarrus County. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Lewis Easley, Sr., and his mother, Clara Etta Blackwelder Easley, and two brothers, Olin Ray Easley and Paul Lewis Easley, Jr. He installed floors for Easley Floor Covering and also worked for Wal-Mart of Concord. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, May 20, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord. Rev. Jeffrey Rushing will officiate and burial will follow at Roberta United Methodist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his son, Darrin Easley and wife, Judy, of Harrisburg; daughter, Shelley McManus and husband, Anthony, of Midland; grandchildren, Austin Easley, Devin and Daniel McManus; brother, Harold Easley of Norwood; and sister, Thelma Tucker of Kannapolis. Memorials may be made to Roberta United Methodist Building Fund, 3925 Cochran Road SW, Concord, NC 28027. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Easley family.
