Lisa Murray

Lisa Ann Murray, 54, of Kannapolis, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Lisa was born September 29, 1964   to Gerald Wayne Cress and the late Linda Sue Cress.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her late husband, Michael Murray.

Lisa was a wonderful mother and even better grandmother.  She was very carefree, worried a little too much about her family, and was all around a great person.

Survivors include her father, Gerald Wayne Cress; daughter, Felicia Ervin and her husband Justin; son, Michael Murray and his fiancée  Becca, and her significant other, Rickie  Ramsey; sister, Kathy Williams and her husband Bob; brother Jeff Cress and his wife Kym.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that will miss her.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with a celebration of life to follow at Charity Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC.
