Linda Kay Ludewig James

Linda Kay Ludewig James went home to the Lord on February 4th, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Georgia on May 18, 1940. 

She moved to New Jersey when she was seven. She was also preceded in death by her parents Estelle Marie Thompson and Robert Ludewig of Rumson, New Jersey. 

She graduated from Dwight-Englewood High School and attended Northwestern University, Miami University, and Traphagen School of Design. She retired from Motorola where she worked as an Executive Secretary and Sales Representative. She moved to North Carolina to be closer to her family in 2005. 

She is survived by her sons Marc (Jennifer) James of Summerville, South Carolina; Darren James of Concord, North Carolina, and her loving grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, 12115 University City Blvd., Harrisburg, NC.
