Lillie Ruth Isenhour

Lillie Ruth Isenhour, 91, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her daughters home in Burlington.

Lillie was born October 18, 1934 in North Carolina to the late Thomas Honeycutt and the late Pearl Honeycutt.

She was also preceded in death by husband, William David Dub Isenhour, daughter Lynn Cook, also four brothers and four sisters.

Lillie was a active longtime member of Matton's Grove Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, helping her husband in the field and cooking Sunday dinners. God and family was very important to her, she has passed her values down to each of her family members.

The family will receive friends from 11am-11:45am on Monday January 19, 2026 at Matton's Grove Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held at 12pm at the church, officiated by Rev. Martha Hayes. Burial will follow at the Matton's Grove Methodist Church Cemetery at 24732 Matton's Grove Church Road, Gold Hill.

Survivors include Daughters, Cathy Barbee of Albemarle, NC, Lisa (Brandon) Brown of Burlington, NC; six grandchildren Angie Austin, Daniel Barbee, Debra Barbee, Chasity Cook, Mason Snuggs and Matthew Snuggs and ten great grandchildren Isaiah Barbee, Anslee Austin, Kain Gordon, Averie Barbee, Kennedy Austin, Salem Barbee, Paislee Austin, Kaitlyn Loftin, Everett Snuggs and Sawyer Snuggs.
