Larry Theodore Russ, Jr.

Larry Theodore Russ, Jr., 62, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord. 

Larry was born on April 27, 1964, in North Carolina to Larry Theodore Russ, Sr. and the late Lista Yvonne Russ. He was also preceded in death by his son Tanner Blake Russ. 

Larry loved the outdoors and always wanted to be out there with his loving son Jeremy. He would spend hours on the phone with his son to plan hunting and fishing adventures. Working in his prized garden was another of his many joys. He was always quick to help everyone in his neighborhood who needed a helping hand. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was not only a great dad, but an amazing paw paw to his 11 grandkids and a great husband to his wife. He worked 25 years at United Parcel Service as a body mechanic. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Geneva Russ of Concord, NC; father, Larry Theodore Russ, Dr.; son, Jeremy Russ (Kayla); stepdaughter, Christina Culler (Charlie); stepson, Karl Diall II (Ashley); and 11 loving grandkids.
