Larry Hughes

Larry Hughes, 64, of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The funeral services will be held at a later date. He was born on October 23, 1948, to the late Rodney Hughes and Zilphia Hughes of Havre-de-Grace. Larry is also preceded in death by a sister Celia Racine. Mr. Hughes is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Hughes; daughter, Rebecca Hughes and life partner Lynsie Allen of Albemarle; two sons, Larry Hughes, Jr. and fiancé Mary of Wilmington and Rodney Hughes and Wife Jessie of Havre-de-Grace; brother, Douglas Hughes of Harve-de-Grace; two sisters, Anita Coakley of Virginia Beach, VA and Karen Turk of Havre-de-Grace; seven loving grandkids; and lots loving cousins, uncles and aunts; and a special friend Crystal Tucker. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 3800 Shamrock Dr. Charlotte NC 28215. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hughes family.
