Kimberly Anthony-Byng

Kimberly Anthony-Byng, 62, of Concord, passed away Sunday evening, January 14, 2024, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. She was surrounded by her family members as she peacefully finished a two-year battle with cancer.

Kimberly was born March 9, 1961, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Nancy Kate Anthony and the late Jerry Hoyle Anthony. Kimberly served her community through her dedication to helping those in the substance-abuse recovery space and growing her community through her church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; and she spread love, care, and thoughtfulness to everyone around her.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Anthony.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Friday, January 19, 2024, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7200 East W.T. Harris Blvd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am and will be officiated by Rev. John Harrill. A burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N via I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Hamilton Byng of Concord, NC; her daughters, Katelyn Byng and Kameron Durrette; her son, Weston Byng; her mother, Kate Anthony; her brother, Derrick Anthony.
