Kenneth Wayne Whitley

Kenneth (Cooter) Whitley,53, of Midland,NC passed away Saturday June,13th 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

Kenneth was born October, 3rd 1972 to the late Jimmy Ray and Janice Elaine Whitley of Midland,NC.

Kenneth worked for Tesh-Troxler/DelaCasa for 37 years as a landscape foreman and hardscape designer. He created beautiful outdoor areas all over NC. Kenneth enjoyed working on/rebuilding engines,visiting the mountains and spending time with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Robbin,(sons) Michael(Amber), Matt ,Daniel(Raven) grandsons(Elijah Paulk),(Barrett Whitley),brother(Jimmy) sisters(Shelly and Ann) and numerous aunts,uncles,cousins, friends and his beloved poodle, Daisy Mae.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Hartsell funeral Home located at 460 Branchview Drive NE. Concord .NC 28027.
