Kenneth Jenkins

Kenneth Wayne Jenkins, 68 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Carolina's Medical Center NE in Concord.

Ken was born July 26, 1946 in North Carolina to the late C.J. Jenkins and Effie Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife Vickie Jenkins and one brother Lester Jenkins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Rodney Boone.

Survivors include sons, Michael Jenkins of Mooresville, Kenneth W. Jenkins, Jr. of Albemarle; daughters, Sabrina McGaha of Temple, GA, Donna Cooper of Kannapolis; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Hambrick of Albemarle

Ken was the owner and operated Discount Tobacco in Albemarle. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
