Kenneth Crisco

Kenneth Herman Crisco, 74 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.

Ken was born December 4, 1939 in Stanly County to the late Claude E Crisco and the late Bessie Jane Helms Crisco. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Crisco.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. The burial will follow at the Smith's Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 138, Oakboro. Military honors will be conducted by the Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. At other times the family will be gathering at the home.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Frances Elaine Aldridge Crisco of the home; son, Kenny Crisco of Oakboro; daughter, Susan Crisco of Locust; and sister, Evelyn Burgess of Oakboro.

Ken honorably served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Homestead Tile in Albemarle, and in his free time he enjoyed going fishing.
