Karen Romine

Karen Elizabeth Romine, 55, of Concord, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her residence in Concord.

Ms. Romine was born June 9, 1966 in Washington, DC to the late Gerald Emery and the late Shirley Bertin Emery.
She grew up in Sparta, New Jersey where she graduated from Sparta High School and proceeded to attend Southern College in Orlando, Florida where she earned her Associates Degree. After she earned her degree, she worked as a Dental Assistant for a number of years until she transitioned to a stay-at-home mother. She was very artistic and had a lot of passion for animals.

Her favorite flowers include Gerbera Daisies and Peonies.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. The memorial service will be officiated by the Rev. Albert Smith.

Survivors include three daughter's Kasey and Krista Romine, Keleigh Giddings, and son, Brett Romine, all of Concord.
