Judy Ann Little

Judy Lyerly Little, 84, of Locust, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord. She has gone to live with her father, the Lord Jesus.

Judy was born August 17, 1939, in North Carolina to the late Eunice Lorena Mullis. Judy leaves behind four sisters. Pat (Mullis) Greene, Sandra (Mullis) Strawn, Donna (Mullis) Ivey and Rhonda Lynn (Mullis) Hart. She was preceded in death by her father Judge Wilson Mullis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm, Thursday, December 14, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Locust, NC. Funeral services will be Thursday, 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Locust. Dr. Kinney Wallace will officiate with assistance from Dr. Tommy Ross, Jr. Burial services will follow at the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Locust at 320 S. Central Ave, Locust, NC.

For most of her adult life, Judy was a bank teller where she enjoyed meeting and talking with many people from her community. Judy’s true-life purpose however was being a wife, being a mother to her 4 children, being a grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Judy is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Legrande Little of Locust, son Jeffery Lowell (Susan) Little, daughter Karen Denise Little, daughter Amie Eloise Little and son James (Happy) Little, Jr.; her grandchildren Ashley Mills, Jeff Little Jr., James “Trey” Little III, and Jaden Little; and her great-grandchildren Logan Mills, Noah Mills, Mackenzie Little, and Jack Little.
