Juanita Widenhouse

Juanita Swinson Widenhouse, 83, of Charlotte, died at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 28, 2012, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Friday, June 1, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Born on June 8, 1928, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Malachi and Minnie Swinson. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Overcash and husband, Randy, of Mooresville; two sons, Leslie Widenhouse of Charlotte and Frank Widenhouse, Jr. and wife, Jane, of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Anita Overcash, Jenny Blakely and Amy Hillestad; and one great-grandchild, William Hillestad. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Widenhouse family.
