Joyce Marie Houston, 51 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at CMC - NorthEast in Concord. Mrs. Houston was born July 26, 1962 in Concord, NC. She was the daughter of Kathryn Burgess and George W. Dryer. Joyce was a loving and caring person. She loved spending time with family and friends. Loved ones left to cherish her memories include; her husband, Roy Houston; sister, Betty Starnes; sons, Anthony Christy and his wife Tisha of Jacksonville, NC, William Christy and his wife Nicole of Brevard NC, Robert Christy also of Brevard NC and Greg Houston of Kannapolis NC; grandchildren, Zander and Ethan Houston. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at 3249 Roberta Road Concord NC 28027 .
