Joyce Gosch

Joyce Kersey Gosch, 57 years of age, of Matthews, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at W. G. Hefner (VA Medical Center) in Salisbury. Joyce was born June 25, 1956 in Stanly County to the late Dennis Edmond Kersey and Betty Dennis Trogdon. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Eddy and David Kersey. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. , Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in officiated by Darryl Huneycutt . Burial will follow at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury. Survivors include loving husband of 36 years, Timothy J. Gosch of Matthews; mother, Betty Dennis Trogdon of Asheboro; son, Timothy Brian Gosch of Charlotte; daughters, Tonya Renee Gosch of Greenville, NC, and Karen Elizabeth Gosch of Charlotte; brother, Doug Efird of Albemarle; sister, Darlene Efird of Rock Hill, SC.
