Joy Talbert

Joy Ann Hall Talbert, 50 years of age, of Oakboro, NC passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home. Joy was born March 9, 1963 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Bill Hall and the late Martha Sue Brown Hall. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle, 522 N. Second St. The funeral service will be at 2 pm on Tuesday at Boone Family Funeral Home, 2005 Mt. Jefferson Rd. in West Jefferson, NC. Rev. Dwight Mabry and Rev. Kinney Wallace will officiate the service. The burial will follow at Cranberry Primitive Baptist Church in Laurel Springs. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Talbert of the home; daughter, Margaret Cook of Laurel Springs, NC; granddaughters, Jadyn Carpenter, and Marley Carpenter; brother, Gary Hall of Jefferson, NC; half brothers, Clinton Hall of Mt. Airey, NC, and Talmadge Hall of High Point, NC; and half sisters, Dorcus Wagoner of Sparta, NC, and Lillie Mae Davis of Danville, VA.
