John Walters

John "Jon Jon" Careylee Walters, 25 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at his grandparent's home in Albemarle .

Jon Jon was born June 2, 1989 in Stanly County, North Carolina, to John Michael Walters and Kim Register. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Walters; and his great-grandparents, Hubert and Evelyn Mauldin.

He had a great sense of humor, loved animals and enjoyed nature. He was also a very determined and knowledgeable individual and a problem solver. He was a one of a kind "Jon Jon".

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 4:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Amanda Wilson and husband, Mr. Kelly Wilson.

Survivors include mother, Kim and Jimmy Register; father, Mike and Angie Walters; brother, Jeremy Walters; grandparents, Mike and Kathy Taylor; great-grandmothers, Emma Tyson and Mildred Lowder; and his pets, Renee and Angel.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Walters family.
