John Morris

John Michael Morris, 43, of 179 Spring St. SW, Concord, died Monday, August 24, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Morris was born January 7, 1966. He was an auto salesman for Tim Marburger Dodge. He was a very active member of his church for 10 years. John loved his Lord. He was formerly employed with the City of Concord as a GIS analyst and was a graduate of West Virginia University and USC, where he obtained his Master’s degree. Survivors include his father, Robert "Bob" Morris; mother, Margaret "Peggy" Morris; brother, Robert and De Morris of Cornelius; sisters, Linda and husband Michael Gragilla of Cornelius and Susan and husband Christian Werner of Davidson; paternal grandmother, Helen Morris of Lititz, PA. The funeral service will be at 1 PM Saturday, August 29, at Concord Christian Church with Pastor Bob Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
