John Linker

John Ivery Linker, 94, of Concord, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mr. Linker was born May 27, 1918 in Cabarrus County to the late Henry Joshua Linker and the late Annie Gray Linker . In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Vernice Boger Linker, brothers, Lewis Linker,William Linker, Marvin Linker, and sister Margie Roseman. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 7th at Boger Reformed Church 7313 Gold Hill Road Concord, officiated by Dr. Donald McMannus . Burial will follow at the Boger Reformed Church Cemetery . He is survived by his son, Johnny Wayne Linker and his wife Janet of Concord, NC, son, Kenneth Larry Linker and his wife Cynthia Wright of Asheville, grandsons, Gary Linker, and Chad Linker and his wife Sandy, granddaughter, Amy Linker, great-grandson, Jake Linker, great-grandson, John Ivery Linker Kanuk, great-granddaughter, Ashlie Linker, great-granddaughter, Eleanor Linker Kanuk, sisters, Lena Sides, Virgie Bame, Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081.
