Joan Embertson

Joan Wiona Embertson, 78 years of age, of Locust, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at her home.

Joan was born March 14, 1937 in Massachusetts to the late Murrill Golden Adams and the late Mildred Cummins Sousa.

There will be a private family service. At other times the family will be gathering at the home of her daughter, Brenda Smith, 259 Town Center Drive in Locust.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Daniel and husband Bruce of Harrisburg, and Brenda Smith of Locust; grandson, Matthew Daniel and wife Tiffany of Cramerton; granddaughter, Heather Earnhardt of Harrisburg; great-grandson, Mason Daniel; great-granddaughter, Taylor Earnhardt; brothers, Murrill G. Adams and wife Marilyn, John Adams, both of California; and sister, Marlene Romans of California.
