Jimmy C. Rogers

Jimmy Carroll Rogers, 93, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his daughters home in Albemarle.

Jimmy was born December 29, 1932, in North Carolina to the late William Rogers and the late Emma Rogers.

He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Broadus Rogers, sister Helen Lambert, and brother Marvin Rogers.

Jimmy was a life long member of Canton Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley, mowing his lawn and just being outside. His family remembers him as a Fixer of many things. Jimmy served in the United States Army.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Canton Baptist Church in Albemarle officiated by Pastor Curtis Williams. Burial will follow at the Canton Baptist Church Cemetery at 24615 Endy Rd, Albemarle.

Survivors include daughter, Debora (John) Allen of Albemarle, NC, son; David Rogers, daughter, Gale (Donnie) Brown of Charlotte, NC grandchildren; Jamie Kennedy of Charlotte, Seth Burris (Sarah) of Charleston, SC, Amanda Brown, Columbia, SC Caylee Brown, Charlotte, NC, Jonathon Rogers of Charlotte, NC and Austin Rogers of Charlotte, NC and great-granddaughter Elizabeth Jane Burris.

Memorials may be shared to Tillery Compassionate Care and Hospice, 960 N 1st St, Albemarle, NC 28001.
