Jerry Wayne Tracy, 63, of Midland, N.C., died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at CMC-Northeast in Concord, N.C. Tracy was self - employed.
Graveside Military Rites by Stanly County Chapter 12 DAV. He served in the Army.
Born June 22, 1946 in Mercer County, WV, he was the son of the late Wallace Tracy and the late Hope (Slater) Tracy. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Wallace Tracy, Jr. and one stepson, Wendell Lowery.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Tracy; stepdaughters, Shelby Satterfield of Stanfield, Patti Hartis and husband, Scott of Midland, Brenda Worley and husband, Todd of Midland; stepsons, Mitchell Lowery and wife, Karen of Stanfield and Randy Lowery and wife, Doris of Pageland, S.C.; sisters, Carol Hill of Kings Mountain and Brenda Marshburn of Shelby; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland, PO Box 100, Midland, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2009. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009 , Rev. Ray Rippy officiating. Interment will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, N.C.
