Jeff was born February 7, 1960, in North Carolina to the late Wade Elvin Hinson and the late Willene Hinson.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm, Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Red Cross Baptist Church-Oakboro. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3pm officiated by Pastor Jessie Herring and Pastor Garry Baker. Burial will then follow at the Red Cross Baptist Church Cemetery at 112 W. Red Cross Rd., Oakboro.
Jeff was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved gardening and taking care of his home. But Jeff's best pastimes included the time that he got to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jeff worked at Lum's Ford from 1984 to 2018. Recently, Jeff was a parts manager at Montgomery Motors. Jeff was a member of Red Cross Baptist Church and had a faithful relationship to his God and Savior, Jesus. Jeff was an outstanding man who will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include wife, Donna Hinson; sons, Brandon (Kailey) Hinson, Bradley (Savannah) Hinson, Jeffrey (Emily) Hatley; grandchildren; Sophia and Autumn Hinson (with another wonderful little granddaughter to come in a few months), Kaitlin (Brandon) Furr, Breanna (Chase) Hatley, Justin (Ciera) Hatley; great-grandchildren, Braylen and Lane Furr, Raeleigh Hatley.
Donations may be made in Jeff's name to Red Cross Baptist Church of Oakboro.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hinson family.
