Jay Menefee

Jay "JL" Menefee, 74, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Albemarle.

Jay Menefee was born July 17, 1948, in North Carolina to the late Francis Earl Menefee and the late Edith Mae Menefee.

Jay was a gentle soul with the gift of storytelling, unexpected wit and humor and an exceptional mind for business.

He left behind his wife Sandy Parson, niece, Jamie Watson of the home and sister in-law Vera Smith. Family of the Heart: Marcia Vanore, Marcee Vanore, Angela Vanore, Candice Vanore and Vicky Eudy Leonard, nieces: Sara Smith and Heather Krause, nephews: Alex Smith, Brian Lawson and Jase Parsons.
