Jason Pierce

Jason Christopher Pierce, 44, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Jason was born August 19, 1978 in Concord, North Carolina to William Barry Bryant and Elizabeth Pierce Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifton and Marjorie Bryant; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Susan Pierce.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Michelle Schauer Pierce of Concord, NC; mother, Elizabeth Pierce Bryant; uncle and aunt, Roger and Sydney Eudy; and aunts, Carol Pierce and Karen Lemerise; as well as several cousins, his faithful companions Bella "Bit Bit", Tank "Bubby Wubby", Skye "Bugger Butt", and many lifelong friends.

Jason was a devoted husband and a dedicated provider for his wife Michelle for eighteen years.  His greatest love was his fur babies Tank, Bella, Skye and Smoke.  Jason followed in his Grandfather's footsteps and became a dedicated truck driver.  He also served as a volunteer fire fighter and worked with the rescue squad at many community events.  Jason also worked for AAA of the Carolina's. He had a heart of service for helping others.  It was not unusual to see him helping someone in need.

Some of Jason's heroes were fire fighters, police officers, EMT's and his cousin Joe.  Jason has touched so many lives in so many different ways and he will live on in the hearts of many.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am - 12:45pm, on Tuesday, December 27th at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Dr. NE, Concord, NC.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the Miller J. Hartsell Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Bobby Tallent.  Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
