Jamie Ryan Dean Bennett 24, of Monroe passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at home. Jamie was born November 4, 1988 in Mecklenburg County to Melanie Anne Washburn and the late Kenneth Dean Bennett. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The graveside service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte on Wednesday, October 23, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Chuck Griffin to officiate. Survivors include his mother, Melanie Anne Washburn of Stallings, NC; half-brother, Michael Sullivan of Monroe, NC; uncles, Dennis Wayne Bennett of Supply, NC, and Terry Lee Bennett of Mint Hill; aunt, Rebecca M. Bennett of Supply, NC; and cousins, Lisa Nesbit and Tara Bennett. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Bennett family.
