James Farrell Russell

James Farrell Russell, 67, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at his home in Albemarle.

Mr. Russell was born March 29, 1958 in North Carolina to the late Cara William Russell and the late Stella Lynn Russell.

He was also preceded in death by wife, Patricia Ann Russell, sister, Nancy Diane Vanhoy, sister, Mary Lou Garden, brother Ronald Russell, and granddaughter Emaline Cox

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, January 12, 2026 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle in Albemarle officiated by Pastor Eddie Barbee . Burial will follow at the Homeland Baptist Church Cemetery at 1224 West Oakwood Ave, Albemarle.

Survivors include daughter, Hannah Russell (Luke Smith) of Albemarle, NC daughter, Savannah (Parker) Cox and granddaughters McKenna and Fionnlee Cox of Salisbury, NC, daughter, Debra Helms three grandsons Cody, Adam, and Ricky of Albemarle, NC, sister, Eva Ann Biby of Norwood, NC.
