James Paige

James Edward Paige, 80 years of age, of Locust, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife, Sarah, by his side on Thursday, December 26, 2013. James was born August 25, 1933 in Stanly County to the late Albert Richard Paige and the late Elsie Jane Huneycutt Paige. He was also preceded in death by son in law, Michael Coble and sister, Kathleen Sides. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 24671 Millingport Road., Locust. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sarah Starnes Paige of Locust; son, Tim Paige of Locust; daughters, Jewel McNeill of Mt Pleasant and Tammie Coble of Albemarle; brothers, R. J. Paige and wife, Reba of Mt Pleasant and Gurley Paige and wife, Shirley of Stanfield; grandchildren Shane and Kyle Coble and Telisha and Brad McNeill; three great grandchildren.
