James Allen Henry

James Allen Henry, 61, of Mount Gilead, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at home.

Jim was born November 5, 1964, in North Carolina to Glenn Allen Henry and the late Mae Louise Henry.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Joel Henry.

Jim was owner and operator of Henry's Truck and Equipment Sales were he sold Military Surplus supplies. He enjoyed traveling and hunting for Indian artifacts including arrowheads.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Troy officiated by Rev. Lee Fish. Burial will follow at the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery at 2889 River Road, Troy.

Survivors include sons; Jimmy Henry of Mount Gilead, NC and Billy Norman of Mount Gilead, NC, significant other of 20 years Wendy Norman, father, Glenn Allen Henry, brother, Kenneth Henry.
