James Friedah
June 2, 1931 — January 28, 2016
James Kenneth Friedah, 84, residing in Kannapolis. Born June 2, 1931 in Johnson City, NY.
James died unexpectedly on January 28, 2016 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Wright Friedah and grandson, Lucas Taylor.
He is survived by his four daughters, Catherine (Ron) Maliwacki of Vestal, NY, Lorraine (Ron) Taylor of Johnson City, NY, Suzanne Friedah of Stanfield, NC and Maryann Friedah of Kannapolis, NC; his son, Joseph Friedah of Kannapolis, NC; his brother, William Friedah and his sister, Meryl Deemie; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 5, 2016, 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord.
James retired from IBM in Charlotte, NC. He loved to hunt, fish, garden and bowling. Longtime friend, Barb Perry.
Burial will be at a later date at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC.
