J. Eudy

J. C. Eudy, 89 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast in Concord.

Born April 25, 1925 in Montgomery County, J. C. was the son of the late Daniel Ailus Eudy and the late Effie Mae Hatley Eudy. He was a retired self-employed carpenter.

J. C. was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ruby Moyle Eudy, on March 16, 2013, and twin sons, Jimmie and Johnie, on October 24, 1946.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service officiated by Pastor Albin Greenwood will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Herrins Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 29482 Herrin Grove Church Road, Mount Pleasant, NC 28124.

Survivors include son, Larry W. Eudy of Albemarle; brother, Melvin "Bob" Eudy of Oakboro; and two sisters, Helen Burleson of Raleigh and Myrtle Mabry of Norwood.
