Irma Furr

Irma Angeline Carriker Furr, 96, of Midland, NC, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the First Assembly Living Center of Concord. Mrs. Furr was born May 28, 1915, in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jackson Furr; father, Joe Henry Carriker; and mother, Myrtle Malissa Baker Carriker. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Bethel United Methodist Church of Midland. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 with Rev. Mark Clontz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is assisting the Furr family.
