Hoil Lee Smith Jr., 67 years of age, of Morganton, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center.
Hoil was born September 25, 1948 in Stanly County North Carolina to Hoil Lee Smith Sr. and Zelma Rowland Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Fred Jordan . Burial will follow at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery at 20987 NC 73 Hwy, Albemarle.
Survivors include his mother, Zelma Marie Smith of Albemarle, NC, one brother, Jimmy Smith of Sparta, TN, one niece, Beth Smith.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Smith family.
