Herman Burnett

Herman Burnett, 77 years of age, of Mint Hill, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at home in Monroe. He was born March 31, 1936 in North Carolina to the late Hoyle H. Burnett and the late Sadie Keziah Burnett. He was also preceded in death by two brothers. The funeral service will be on Monday, September 2, 2013, at 6:00 pm at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 5417 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, NC officiated by Rev. Marvin Tyson. Military honors will be conducted by the N. C. National Guard. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Survivors include wife, Rosemary Burnette of the home; sons, Mike Burnette and Todd Burnette, both of Monroe; daughter, Tammy Burnette of Monroe; grandchildren, Sarah Anne Burnette and Jackson Burnette; great-grandson, Braylon; 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.
