Herbert Lindstrom

Herbert Lindstrom, 93, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Florida .

Herbert was born July 11, 1931 in to the late Robert Lindstrom and the late Elsie Lindstrom.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Ted Lindstrom .

A farewell service will be held on Wednesday July 2, at 12:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle located at 522, North 2nd Street, officiated by Reverend Tab Whitely. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery located at 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro.

Herbert was a loving husband to his wonderful wife Deane for 64 years. He enjoyed traveling with Deane to numerous countries all over the world. In his travels, he went to Australia where he caught an 848 lb marlin which he was extremely proud of. Herbert loved taking care of his dogs, and had 5 poodles He was an avid golfer, generous friend, and loved making sandwiches for the poor. Herbert was somewhat shy and was never the one want to stand in the spotlight but instead, enjoyed serving others anonymously. But of all the places he visited and things he had done, his most cherished moments were the times he got to spend with his family.
