Helen Whitley

Helen Love Whitley, 79, of Midland Road, Midland, passed away Feb. 3, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast, Concord. She was born December 10, 1930, in Cabarrus County, to the former William Alexander Love and Ossie Helms Love. She was also preceded in death by brothers Hal, Edward, and Arthur Love. Visitation is Friday, 6:00 - 8:00, Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Funeral Saturday, 11:00, New Hope Independent Freewill Baptist Church, Concord, officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic. Interment Monday, February 8, 1:00, Stanly Gardens of Memory, Albemarle. Survivors include husband Raymond Addison Whitley of the home; son Billy Dale Whitley of Midland; brothers Charles, Johnny, Billy Love; sisters Lela Barnhardt, Faye Smith, Janie Barnhardt, and Shirley Wilson. Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, is serving the family.
