Hazel Gilbert Britt, age 91, passed away on April 01, 2010 at Lutheran Home of Albemarle. Born in Cochransville, PA on April 17, 1918. Hazel Britt was preceded in death by her husband Fred Shelby Britt, Jr. in 1998 and great grandson, Derek Treece in 2001. She is survived by her son, Merle Britt and wife Jackie of Albemarle; daughter, Mary Paul and husband Jerry and Diane Hartley and husband Herb of Albemarle. Six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. There are no scheduled services. Memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home, P.O. Box 7, Albemarle,NC 28002 c/o Hazel Britt account.
