Hanna Anita Erika Giusino

Hanna was born April 26, 1934, to Herbert and Elisabeth Hoffmann in Hamburg, Germany. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Antonio, and her eldest daughter Connie Petzold.

Hanna was a survivor with a generous heart and a deep, strong faith in Jesus Christ. She loved family, friends, good food and music, beautiful clothes that were paired with one of her “floppy” hats. She would greet you genuinely, saying, “God bless you,” with a great smile and a gentle laughter that would lift your spirits. One of her favorite hobbies was crocheting baby blankets for the Gate Pregnancy Center.

Hanna is survived by her son, Andreas H. Giusino of Charlotte, NC, daughters, Elisabetha Boesch of Ponchatoula, LA, Francesca Saliba of Madisonville, LA., Elke Timm of Hamburg Germany, and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gate Pregnancy Resource Center at https://app.theauxilia.com/payments/client/gate_pregnancy_resource_center . The memorial service will be held at Pitts Baptist Church in Concord NC, officiated by Pastor Scott Davis on October 20, 2026, at 2 pm. Visitation will begin at 1pm.
