Gracie Kathleen Coble

Gracie Kathleen Coble, 85, of New London, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Coble was born November 29, 1940, in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Arthur Brown and the late Jamie Owens.She was also preceded in death by husband, Charles Ovesta Coble. Also preceded in death by her siblings Artis Brown; Billy Brown; Christine Connor; Earnest Brown and Harold Brown.

Gracie attended Kingville High. She worked as a spinner in the textile industry. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Richfield and the United Gospel Singers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle officiated by Elder Travis Harris. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Church Cemetery, 45657 Finch Road, Richfield, NC 28137.

Survivors include son Steven Coble( Patty Coble), son Charles Coble; daughter in love Lisa Coble; grandson Steven O Coble; granddaughters Mia Coble and Amary Eudy; granddaughter Natarsha Harris her children Briana Harris and Lamon Hamilton; granddaughter, Amelia Harris her son Trajan Harris-Cole; gPatrick Harris, his daughter Lyndon Hinson; Alicia Harris and her son Emmitt Harris; granddaughter Aaliya Tipton and grandson Xavier Coble. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
