Grace Elizabeth Leazer Coley

Grace Elizabeth Leazer Coley, 89, of Concord, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026.

Grace was born February 17, 1937, in Rowan County, North Carolina. Grace was the beloved daughter of the late Everette Leazer and the late Alli-Mae Williams Leazer.

Grace was a devoted wife to her late husband, Robert Coley, and a cherished mother and grandmother whose love extended across generations. She took great pride in her ever-growing family and found joy in every moment spent with them. Her children and their spouses include: Pamela Mayberry, Amanda and Lenny Mauldin, Martin and Kathy Coley, along with Annette and Mike Cantley. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.

In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by her sisters, Annie Mae Stancil and Shelby Jean Dunlap, as well as, her granddaugther, Trisha Ann Coley.

A woman of strong faith, Grace was a devoted Christian who loved attending church and living out her beliefs in her daily life. She was known for her kind heart, welcoming spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel like family. Grace had a special talent for arts and crafts, often sharing her creativity with those around her.

To many, she was more than a mother or grandmother- she was a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love. Affectionately known as "our Amazing Grace," she touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Coldwater Baptist Church in Concord officiated by Pastor Debbie Lewis. Burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.

Grace will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
