Geraldine Crisco Causby

Geraldine Crisco Causby, 105, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Geraldine was born March 23, 1920, in North Carolina to the late Thomas Franklin Crisco and the late Clita Cleo Crisco. She was also preceded in death by husband, Ralph Bennett Causby, brothers, Franklin D. Crisco, Spencer Crisco, Price Crisco, and Larry Crisco; sisters, Eris Hinson, Vanonda Hamby, Charlotte Crisco, Wanda Crisco, Beaupine Crisco, and step-son, George B. Causby

Geraldine was a life long member of First Baptist Church serving as Sunday school teacher, active member of the bereavement committee, she also sang in the choir. She enjoyed the simple life, reading, talking with her friends and family, and doing needlepoint. She was employed at the Wiscassett Hosiery Mill office and Service Distributing Company until retiring in 1971. Geraldine taught us by the life she lived. She was a loving presence to all. If you asked her what she did to live so long, she would tell you that "God has been good to me, he did it all."

A graveside service will be on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle officiated by, Dr. Kendell Cameron. Burial will follow at the Fairview Memorial Park at 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.

Survivors include step-granddaughter, Toni Walton(Billy), step-grandson, Marty Causby (Colleen) and step-great grandchildren; Lauren Causby and Michele Minehart, Blake Walton, Chad Walton, and Richard Oeters; and step-great-great grandchildren; Aiden, Lili, Luca, Lettie, Ashlyn, Dylan, and Rachel. Geraldine also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family would like memorials to be shared to First Baptist Church of Albemarle and Tillery Compassionate care.
