To her family and friends she was Dale. She found her greatest joy in the people she loved most. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent making memories with them. She was the best Monster at the family gatherings. They called her DAYS. Whether traveling with family, watching the sunrise paint the sky over Holden Beach, or sharing laughter around the table, she cherished life’s simple blessings. She had a creative spirit and loved scrapbooking and crafting, preserving precious memories for generations to come. Many mornings you would find her power walking through downtown around the YMCA, greeting the day with determination and a smile. She also had a few simple favorites that those who knew her well always remember-a Little Debbie cake, an ice-cold Pepsi, and the comfort found in life’s familiar routines. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and countless treasured memories that will forever live on in the hearts of her family.
