George Wells

George Francis Wells, 57 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

George was born August 15, 1957 in New York to the late Garvin Charles Wells and the late Alice Antonio Wells.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Adam Francis Wells.

He worked as the Senior Project Manager for Superior Industrial Maintenance Co.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Covenant Church of Harrisburg at 6900 Hickory Ridge Rd, Harrisburg, NC. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the church officiated by Rev. David Hix. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens at 8901 Lawyers Rd., Charlotte.

Survivors include wife, Kathryn Bolick Wells of Concord, NC; daughters, Heather Wells (David) Webb of Mount Pleasant, SC, Erin (Russell) Stinchcomb of Athens, GA, and Kelly Wells of Concord, NC; son, Caleb Wells of Concord, NC; grandson, Roran Riley Stinchcomb; sister, Geraldine Whitenight of Mint Hill, NC; brother, Garvin (Cathy) Wells of Poughkeepsie, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
