Geneva Morgan
September 24, 1920 — December 2, 2014
Geneva Paige Morgan, 94 years of age, of Mount Pleasant, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the home of her daughter.
Geneva was born September 24, 1920 in Stanly County to the late Edmund Riley Paige and the late Elmetta Almond Paige. She was also preceded in death by husband, Henry William Morgan, and step-son, Floyd "Pete" Morgan.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service, conducted by Rev. Aubrey Whitley, will be at 3:00 pm on December 5, 2014 at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 24671 Millingport Road, Locust.
Survivors include son, Jerry (Janice) Paige of Oakboro; daughter, Gail (Aubrey) Whitley of Mount Pleasant; three grandchildren, Jana (Scott) Kennedy, Joan (Donnie) Crisco, and Alex (Lynette) Whitley; six great grandchildren, Blair (Paul) Dover, Tristan Kennedy, Kyle Crisco, Kody Crisco, Laura Whitley, and Jared Smith; and one great great grandchild, Elija Dover. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to caregivers: Angie Hinson, Delores Pritchard, and Lynette Whitley.
