Gary Allen Thompson, 56, of Albemarle, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at CMC- NorthEast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The memorial service, officiated by Rev. Garry Baker, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 7:00 pm. He was born on July 21 1956, to the late Bruce Allen Thompson and the late Myrtle Louise Thompson. Mr. Thompson is survived by his loving wife Tammy Thompson;a daughter, Hanna Thompson of Albemarle; two sons, Chavis Thompson of Albemarle and Dustin Thompson of Mississippi; six grandchildren, Chaz Thompson, Owen Love, Trevor Goss, Nathaniel Thompson, Lexi Thompson and Zayden Thompson.
